Thermal Gradient, Inc. was founded in 2004 for the purpose of commercializing our core technology for performing extremely fast thermal cycling for PCR in small and inexpensive devices. Thermal Gradient is privately financed and located in greater Rochester, New York.

The company develops microfluidic devices that perform nucleic acid amplification at unprecedented rates; in just a few minutes as compared to hours using more conventional techniques in devices.
